As I write this, the biggest story on the news today is the fight that President Obama (.....Obama) is having in trying to pass Health Care Reform.I’d like to go on the record right here and now to say that I am, in fact, in favor of a widespread overhaul of the decrepit and unfair health care system in America today.As an injury prone professional wrestler relishing the 90 day no-compete (and therefore, no-injury) clause that I agreed to with my former receiver of independently contracted services, I need to make certain that I can get the coverage necessary to be able to see LOTS of doctors when I get injured ... which as all of you know is quite OFTENI'm EXTREMELY concerned about signing any kind of contract after my 90 days is over. I am stressed to the absolute MAX about the thought of appearing in ANY kind of ring, be it 4, 6, or 8 sided. CTM …that’s “chuckle to myself” and I made that up because how many people actually LOL? ... If I do appear, I could -- and probably WILL -- get hurt again, as I am prone to do. If this happens then my medical status will surely be "injured" and therefore "injured" will be declared as a pre-existing condition, and under the current flawed system, I will be denied coverage.
Then what will I do? How will I continue to entertain my loyal fans?!?Well, the sure way to solve this dilemma is to root for President O. to be able to get this Health Care Reform pushed through the legislative branch of government as quickly as possible, with little to no resistance from anyone (and in the middle of the night without reading it first, if necessary) so that I may be covered just as the members of Congress and the Senate are. That would be such a major relief, because if my reputation is accurate (and you know it is, because I read it on the internet), I'll probably be hospitalized after my first match.Until next week, please enjoy the video, and remember to keep counting down the days until you can see me compete again, this time under my new name of Misterrrrrrrrr Fragility .......FRA-GILI-TY!!! TNA interested in Umaga and Mr. Kennedy

TNA Wrestling sources claim the company is definitely interested in Umaga (Eddie Fatu) and Mr. Kennedy (Ken Anderson), both of whom were released from WWE recently.
TNA apparently sees money in a potential Samoa Joe vs. Umaga feud down the road.
The 90-day no compete clauses of both Umaga and Kennedy expire about ten days from each other later this summer, so both could potentially join the company around the same time.
A source close to Mr. Kennedy claims he's very much looking forward to joining TNA Wrestling, feeling he can be a top star in the company without restraints, such as those he felt he had while in WWE. Kennedy apparently felt he wasn't seen as a top star in WWE, but will be in TNA - and can be, if given the opportunity.

Injury prone. Believe it........or not......

Just some food for thought and maybe some questions you can ask yourselves. If I take a sledgehammer and SMASH you in the side of the head and you get hurt very badly, does that make you "injury prone"? If I cut off your arm with a samurai sword, and you have to have it reattached (causing you to miss several months of work) are you also then to be considered..."injury prone"? Well let's say that you're in a match in Italy standing on the apron during a ten man tag match, and a guy is supposed to come over and give you a little forearm which will cause you to drop to the floor, but INSTEAD, he decides to drop kick your ass into the 20th row, he virtually leg presses you off the apron, and you have a "Matrix" like moment in your head where you see yourself flying backwards through the air. You clear the mats that line the floor outside the ring and because you're trying to protect your head from smashing into the guardrail, you stretch your right arm over your head. At the moment you make IMPACT with the concrete floor, your arm stretched out over your head and the sudden stop causes the tendon in your latissimus dorsi (or that big back muscle that you see on bodybuilders, ya know the ones that look like wings...) to SNAP in two and it coils up down your side to the point that's in line with your belly button. Let's say.....hypothetically.......that this happened to you. Would you call yourself...."injury prone"? Let's throw another "hypothetical situation" out there. Let's say that you're having a match with a guy who's just supposed to give you a lil' old schoolboy to end the match. Just a nice and easy rollup for the finish. In fact the night before he hit you with his finish and the crowd didn't really react as strongly as you would have liked it to, so the agent (or producer) who's in charge of your match that night has told your opponent specifically NOT to hit his finish. Now keep in mind that having said this, your opponent's finisher is probably the furthest thing from your mind. So as you're waiting for this nice little easy rollup for the finish, the guy leaps into the air, hooks your head tight, causing your right arm to get caught between your two bodies, and drives you chest first into the mat. You go from standing to laying on your stomach with your arm stretched across your chest and your shoulder pops out of it's socket, tearing that muscle about 60% away from the bone. Now again, would an event such as this make you......"injury prone"? Now if something like this HAD ever happened to me (again, these are strictly hypothetical situations), I probably wouldn't say anything about it to anyone. I for one would never want to bury another talent, whine or cry about it, I'd probably just chalk it up to poor judgement, and being in the wrong place at the wrong time, rather than accusing someone of being a stiff in the ring. Let's face it, accidents happen in the wrestling business which is why there are countless videos of "wrestling screw-ups" on YouTube. Every once in awhile if you're in the wrestling business, you're gonna get a BOO-BOO.

Umaga & Mr. Kennedy To TNA?

As of right now, sources within TNA claim that the company is interested in both Mr. Kennedy and Umaga. One member of upper management sees dollar signs in a program with Umaga and Samoa Joe. Kennedy and Umaga's 90-day no-compete clauses with WWE will be expiring just a couple weeks apart from each other late in the summer.

Bobby Lashley Speaks On Rumors About Mr. Kennedy

Bobby Lashley appeared on the Busted Open radio show last night and defended Mr. Kennedy following his recent WWE release. "If somebody says that (Kennedy worked too stiff), I think they need to get a reality check, man. We're wrestlers, we're not dancers. We're not children. If someone touches you a little harder in a friggin' wrestling match and you go crying about it, that's ridiculous.
"I've been punched in the face, kicked, I've been hammered left and right by several different people. I never went crying and said, 'Oh, he hit me too hard.' That's just part of the business of wrestling. It ain't volleyball. It ain't tee-ball. They're grown men, most of which being well conditioned grown men... I had several matches with Kennedy and I never left the match and said, 'Oh, man, you hit me too hard.' I liked the way he worked.
"I didn't think he was too stiff. I worked a lot of people who are top guys that are a lot stiffer than him. Some of the veterans would even say that they work a little snugger out there. It kind of helps. I don't mind if someone works stiff with me because it helps me react a little better. It helps me get into the match a little more."
Just to clarify, the complaints about Kennedy was that he was sloppy in the ring not that he worked stuff, although more than one source has also defended him regarding those allegations as well.

Jeff Hardy Comments On Mr. Kennedy’s WWE Release

WWE performer Jeff Hardy was interviewed by the Big O and Dukes Show on 106.7FM in Washington D.C. this morning. On the subject of Ken Kennedy recently being released from WWE, Hardy said “It was really sad, you know? I think he’s a real talented guy. I don’t know if it was the right move, but we’ll see.” He also mentioned that Ken was a guy that he had worked with and traveled with quite a bit and that he was extremely shocked to find out about his release.
“There’s been a lot of releases, a lot of friends that are getting released just out of nowhere,” Hardy continued “You gotta deal with it, move on and just know to yourself that its not the end of the world and that there’s other things out there.” You can download this interview at WJFK.com. and on iTunes under Big O and Dukes.

News on Kennedy Looking Forward to Joining TNA Wrestling

One person close to Mr. Kennedy notes that he is looking forward to going to TNA in September, once his 90 day non-compete clause with WWE ends. The same person notes that Kennedy has a lot of confidence and believes he can really be a top guy but feels like Vince McMahon didn’t see him at that level, which he didn’t.
His goal is he believes if he goes to TNA he can be that top guy, thinking they will allow him to be the character he thinks he can be without always trying to get him to change. It is believed that TNA has an interest in him but in his case, the situation would be that TNA would probably want to sign him to a three-year deal.

Mr Kennedy KO'd by WWE

WWE have sensationally fired one of their biggest superstars, by today releasing Mr. Kennedy.

The former United States champion had only just returned from injury, coming back on this week's Raw by interrupting Randy Orton and announcing himself the mystery babyface in the 10-man tag team main event.
The episode also saw Ken grab the mike and threaten to chase the Legend Killer's WWE title, leaving fans thinking he was finally set for a run on top.
But less than a week afte that well-received comeback, he has been let go.
The details of his release are unknown at this point.
One of the most popular stars in the wrestling business, both with fans and peers, Kennedy's career had been stalled by injuries and controversy.
Mentored by Paul Heyman in Ohio Valley Wrestling, the man from Green Bay wowed all on joining WWE - winning our Best Entrant Golden Robe in 2005.
As a lifelong fan, student of the business and acclaimed indie wrestler - Ken was finally living his dream.
Areans around the globe would repeat his 'Mr Kennneeedddyyy... Kennedy' catchphrase and he became friends with many of his idols, including Stone Cold Steve Austin.
His first disappointment arrived when he was due for a top-level feud with Eddie Guerrero, just before Eddie died.
Kennedy was then struck down by various injuries and he was rarely seen on TV for any sort of sustained period.
Perhaps the most galling incident for him came in April 2007, when he had won the Money in the Bank ladder match at Wrestlemania.
Winning the briefcase is usually a sign that the company is willing to get behind a wrestler and hand him a world title run.
Unfortunately for Ken, he injured his arm, and the Money in the Bank opportunity was lost to Edge.
As it turned out, the original diagnosis of a torn triceps was wrong and after being written out of his proposed storyline, Kennedy was back sooner than expected and could indeed have won the belt.
His other big letdown was after Mr McMahon had been revealed to have a love child who was working for WWE.
All signs pointed to Kennedy but this angle was dropped in favour of Hornswoggle.
Kennedy was then taken off of TV for "impersonating a McMahon" after trying to persuade Vince he was his kin.
In reality, he had been suspended for a month for a violation of the WWE Wellness policy.
The massive irony of all this was that Kennedy had appointed himself a company spokesman in the wake of the Chris Benoit murders - telling The Sun's WrestleCast he did not take steroids.
Since then he has made claims that the prescription he had was genuine, but out of date, and that he was misled by someone he had believed was a doctor.
Most recently, the libertarian Kennedy again appeared on Wrestlecast and stirred up more controversy.
This time he told us that WWE's drug testing was too severe and suggested that wrestlers should be able to take steroids if they wanted as they were only harming themselves.
This reportedly landed him the doghouse, and came during yet another layoff with a shoulder injury.
It was rumoured that on Monday, in his first match back, Kennedy injured his wrist taking an RKO from Randy Orton - but it is not known how badly he was hurt.
Whatever the reasons for his departure, Ken Anderson - to give him his real name - is a very talented man who at 33-years-old still has much to offer the wrestling business.
Don't be surprised if the next ring you see him in is six sided.

The early word on Mr. Kennedy's surprising release from World Wrestling Entertainment tonight is that almost injuring Randy Orton as well as himself during his match on Raw on Monday night was the straw that broke the camel's back. Kennedy made his return to Raw on Monday night after a ten month hiatus rehabbing a badly injured shoulder. As bad luck would have it, Kennedy ended up injuring his wrist after taking the RKO from Orton. Much more seriously in the eyes of management, Orton nearly re-injured his bad shoulder as a result of an errant maneuver on the part of Kennedy. Following the show, Orton and Kennedy had words backstage, although it was not heated. Very calmly, Orton dressed him down, telling him he needed to be more careful so he wouldn't injure anyone else in the ring.

After taking a lengthy period of time off due to a shoulder injury, Mr. Kennedy returned to the ring this past Thursday at the Florida Championship Wrestling television taping. He worked a six-man tag, teaming with Brett DiBiase and Bo Rotundo over Jon Cutler, Troy Jackman and Dylan Klein. This should indicate that Kennedy is at the very least, a few weeks away from returning to Raw. It should be noted that Raw will be taking place in Kennedy's billed hometown of Green Bay, Wisconsin on June 22nd.

In preparation for his return to WWE, ProWrestling.net reports that many WWE officials feel Ken Kennedy will need to prove that he can stay healthy before the company will give him a major push once he returns to the ring following his ongoing shoulder problems.
Kennedy has been pegged with the "injury prone" label by many in WWE according to sources, while others are not fond of some of the comments he has made in various mainstream interviews. One WWE source stated, "He needs to learn to shut the fu*k up." That comment was in response to a recent interview Kennedy took part in where he felt his shoulder injury could be career-threatening and sounded off again on steroid use.

Yesterday was the 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania in Houston, Texas. There were a lot of stars in attendance including: Nicole Scherzinger, Kid Rock, Billy Gibbons, Michael Clarke Duncan and Mickey Rourke. After the show I went to the after party and got to meet all the WWE superstars. When I first arrived I was talking with Michael and Ken Kennedy suddenly grabs him and puts him in a headlock. It made for great photo. I had a blast at WrestleMania and look forward to next year.

Mr. Kennedy Blasts The WWE Wellness Policy

Kennedy was recently interviewed by The Sun out of the United Kingdom as part of their WrestleCast feature. He was very critical of the WWE Wellness Policy. Below are some of the highlights:

"Testing is ridiculous. I swear it's far more rigorous than the NFL," Kennedy told the publication. "It seems like every time we go to TV, there's a note on the door that says we're testing. Do it on a weekly basis and it tends to be a bit much. I'm probably going to get myself in trouble here."

Kennedy addressed his suspension from WWE after his name was linked in a report by Sports Illustrated where it was revealed he received shipments of testosterone.

"I thought the suspension was bulls--- to begin with," Kennedy said. "I feel I had a legitimate medical condition. Someone will say 'you're not supposed to go online to get.' I never went online once. Never. It was an actual guy who said he was a doctor who I got my stuff from."

Kennedy claims he needed testosterone because his body shut down its natural production of testosterone. He said he used steroids in the indies to try and bulk up to get signed to WWE.

"You go through your life trying to get into WWE; you do everything you can," Kennedy said. "I made some decisions - I'm happy or not happy about. I made those decisions and I have to live with them."

Kennedy explained he needs testosterone because of his past steroid use: "What happens is when you stop taking that stuff, your natural level of testosterone - you feel like s---. You can't get out of bed in the morning. Your natural production of testosterone just stops."

Kennedy defended his use of testosterone with the following comments:

"If I'm not hurting anybody, what's the big deal?" he asked rhetorically. "If I'm going to have health issues, I'm going to have health issues."

In the interview, Kennedy discusses the sleepless nights he had over rumours he was being fired and how he beat 20 other WWE superstars – including Jeff and Matt Hardy – for a part in new movie Behind Enemy Lines: Columbia.He also talks about his frank discussions with Vince McMahon over his character – where he was told "don’t be so funny" and to never piledrive Undertaker again.On the subject of steroids, the star explains why he fell foul of the WWE's Wellness Policy shortly after saying he didn’t take them in our last chat.He then explains just how "vigorous" the company are over testing for banned substances, including having an independent official watching their wrestlers give urine samples on an almost weekly basis.But he also adds that, while he knows they’re for the good of his health, he feels the tests are "a little much" and expresses his own personal view that: "If you're not hurting anybody – then what’s the big deal?" Despite being reported that Mr Kennedy was cleared to wrestle several weeks ago, Kennedy told Femalefirst.co.uk that “I just want to make sure that I’m totally ready before I get back in the ring. I was hoping it’d be better for Wrestlemania but I guess now it’s going to be after that.”
Kennedy has been out with a dislocated shoulder since August of last year,and only recently returned as part of the hype for his movie Behind Enemy Lines: Columbia.

Martin was found dead at his home in Tampa, Florida on March 13, 2009 at 8:00 PM. He was 33 years, missing a few days for his birthday. The causes of death are unknown at this time. :(

Mr. Kennedy is heading to the UK to promote Wrestlemania XXV on Sky Box Office, reports The Sun.
The roster sheet for last week's edition of Raw (which has leaked online) featured what looks to be the pecking order for talent in World Wrestling Entertainment. All of the performers in the company were divided by brand, as well as sides (babyface and heel). It would appear that the performers were listed in order of importance/usefulness at the moment, from the company's view. For instance, Randy Orton and Chris Jericho were listed as the top heel wrestlers on Raw, with seldom-used wrestlers Sim Snuka and Dolph Ziggler listed at the bottom. Wrestlers such as Batista and Mr. Kennedy were listed below the likes of Charlie Haas and Curt Hawkins on the list, but they're inactive, so they're not really below them on the WWE pecking order. Due to their inactivity, Batista and Kennedy are of no use to WWE for the week's set of TV tapings, which explains why they're listed at the bottom. Technically, Haas and Curt Hawkins would be of greater use to WWE for the week's tapings than Batista and Kennedy because they're both active, unlike them.
